How many lessons will I need to become a good dancer? Each individual learns at his or her own pace depending upon how often and close together lessons are taken. Your rate of success greatly depends upon your willingness to learn and have fun on your lessons. The progression of lessons at Dance Dedicates is based on an interrelated teaching system. Although each individual learns at his or her own pace, Dance Dedicates employs a time-tested system of teaching designed to give you the most efficient and enjoyable experience possible. In other words, we have fun and easy down to a science; literally!
Getting the most out of each lesson: 1. | Schedule lessons as frequently and close together as possible. This prevents the need for excessive review, so you’ll spend more time learning new material. | 2. | Utilize interrelated teaching methods. This means that whenever you learn something new, it crosses over to multiple dances and prepares you for the next level. | 3. | Plan for success. You, the student, can choose your ultimate goal, and your teacher will design your personalized dance plan. | 4. | Have a goal in mind. You’ll be much more focused during your lessons if you have a deadline of some sort to look forward to. Dance Dedicates participates in showcases and pro/am competitions locally and throughout the country. |
